Sunbeam knew they had to figure out how to get ahead of this issue and any similar problems that may occur. 

‍Local Police Recommend Flock Safety Cameras

Local law enforcement reached out to Sunbeam and recommended Flock Safety cameras. Police in the area were already using Flock Safety themselves and knew that Flock would offer a proactive security solution for the communities. Sunbeam began installing Flock cameras, eventually expanding to cover all ten entrances with 20 cameras, and strengthened their ties with local law enforcement in the process.

‍Issues with Trespassers Leaving Trash that Attracted Raccoons

Shortly after installing Flock Safety License Plate Reader (LPR) cameras, Sunbeam identified where trespassers were entering the property at night, leaving food and other trash that attracted raccoons. Tenants began to complain and Sunbeam sought a quick resolution to regain trust. 

Sunbeam investigated the issue using their Flock Safety LPR cameras and identified the trespassers and their vehicles. Using the tag number from the cameras, they used Flock’s Custom Hot Lists feature to immediately receive alerts whenever previous trespassers tried to re-enter the property.
