Working with IoT devices means working with a lot of “un-google-able” problems. The opportunity to solve novel problems in brand new technology is really engaging and makes my day to day work interesting. There is something inherently satisfying about being the first person to solve a specific problem. Even if you may have created the problem yourself.
I really enjoy cooking. The process of picking out fresh ingredients and cooking them into a delicious meal is one of life’s great pleasures. One of the truly underrated aspects of cooking is the aromatherapy you get from things like caramelized onions or roasted garlic.
How to be Perfect by Michael Schur. Otherwise known as Mose from The Office, Michael Schurr produced The Office, Parks and Rec, and The Good Place. It’s a great book about the development of modern philosophy, with the goal of reconciling the guilt people often feel from not being “morally perfect”. It’s a really funny read, with the same kind of humor that made characters like Leslie Knope and Michael Scott so relatable.
